16800 39mm case?

Was browsing some website a while back and saw that 16800 Subs had 39mm cases as opposed to 40mm 16610. Can anyone confirm this to be true? What is the weight difference between these two?

I can tell no difference between either of my 16800s and my 16610LV. It is essentially the same watch.

most 14060's are non COSC also

Sorry my question was vague, i know the difference is the date and movement but is there difference in case size between 14060 and 16610?

Now I can tell you that the 14060M is slightly smaller then the 16610. Their bezel inserts are not interchangeable.

I don't think that I take pictures good enough to discern the difference in size, but here is my 16610LV and 14060M

You should spend more time in our Reference Library..

The 14060 and the 16610 are completely different watches.... very little interchanges with the 14060 being slightly smaller overall..

The 16800 and the 16610 are the same watch except the 16610 uses 904L Steel and has a 3135 movement instead of the earlier 3035..

the short interim 168000 was the switch to 904L, but since the 3135 was not quite ready, they simply stamped an extra zero onto the 16800 - it became a 904L case (identical to the 16610) with the early 3035 movement.
