Newbie from Coventry, UK
Easy everyone, after being offered a used Rolex timepiece I found myself being on this forum for quite some time researching the brand etc, so thought I would join as I am already hooked!
The piece in question turned out to be a high end replica, so I already owe users on here for saving me money, and supplying me with a great amount of brand knowledge in a very small amount of time. Just a quick intro then I'm a 26 year old DJ/producer from Coventry, UK. I currently own a couple of nice watches from the Joe Rodeo collection, and am about to purchase my first Rolex, a brand new Submariner date 116610LN. if Anyone has any buying tips or help feel free to add, as so far I have only contacted local dealers all of which have told me I will have to be placed on the waiting list for the piece. Many thanks in advance! |

Welcome to TRF...glad you were able to discover you were being offered a fake. Have a look around and good luck on the hunt for your SubC. It's a fantastic watch.

yea best I have come across so far is 3 month wait, so am trying to decide wether to sit tight or go down another route, such as a grey market dealer, however as I still have little knowledge on grey market dealers I am reluctant to go down that path untill I know more. If anyone has any tips or info that they think would help it would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance

Your best bet would be to contact a trusted seller from TRF.

does anyone have any info concerning a new price increase on the new range of watches? I have just had a call from ernest jones saying that I should expect my watch to arrive within the next 6 weeks, but there is a price increase that was in effect from last week, going up from 4970 to 5400?
Any confirmation would be greatly appreciated |

Edit* I have now found the relevant post in the general discussion forum, gray market route is fast becoming the more appealing route now!

Welcome bud from Canada.
I just picked up my Sub C last week and love it. I don't think you can go wrong with your choice. |

I picked my Sub C up last week. Although most ADs will tell you there's a wait, you can find stock if you look around.
I found one but didn't buy it, but luckily I managed to find another a few days later. So, has your watch arrived yet? You'll love it when you do get it :) Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk |
