Thats a great watch except for one thing, It doesn't say Rolex Submariner on the dial.

While I like the dial and the size, that crown guard needs some serious work out ...

I still like Subc better. The crown guard on that watch looks out of proportion to the rest of the watch and its markings and numbering looks 'unfinished' but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder Congrats to you and your beauty

I love JLC watches, just not the sports models. I would stick to a sub, too, sorry....

Very nice watch! I would really like one of those ...

However I would not sell my SubC to get it...

Just to clear some points, those are not crown guards but compression keys...the JLC movement is very impressive and reliable, with ceramic rotor bearings (which I prefer over SubC's simple bearing..) which no breitling can compare to IMHO...and finish is top notch!

Wear that beauty in best health mate ..

PS: It looks absolutely great on your wrist ;-)...

I love JLC, but more for there complications and not for their sports watches. These are more to my liking.

I beg to differ...

I had been given the chance to own a 16610 several times, I finally bought one early this year and kept it for a few months...in the end I finally traded it for a subC and couldn't be happier.

The new watch is one of the few Rolexes which feels like a watch worth anywhere near it's retail price...

- The clasp on the 16610 cannot be centred on the bottom of the wrist
- The clasp (side walls) digs in the wrist
- The non A/R date mag. is useless
- The clasp is a many years old design..it can never compare to the comfort and general engineering gone into the new glidelock..
- The SubC has cool blue lume
- The SubC is more easily visible (fat minute hand and markers)
- SubC has in house (antimagnetic) balance spring
- Bezel looks really really nice, changing colours from deep black to grey in different lighting conditions...

I chose the 14060M as the watch for a lifetime but I still think that a SubC is a much more up to date watch with many advantages...however everyone is entitled to his opinion...good luck ...
