Another... Would You Do This Trade?

So I have the opportunity to trade:

1 x White Dial SS Daytona - V series
1 x Black SS Sub C - V series

for

1 x PP 5711/1A SS Nautilus

I'll probably have to throw in some money as well (maybe $2K). But would you do this trade?
The Nautilus is a grail for me, but to be honest, I'm not sure I'm ready for a Patek. Yet, I feel like if I don't do this now, it may be a while before an opportunity like this comes up.
Any thoughts... I'll do a poll to make this easy. :-) Thanks!

Would I do this trade? No. 2 > 1, especially those two awesome pieces.

Should YOU do the trade? Well, that is entirely up to you and what makes you happy

Sorry two watches dont equal one watch IMHO even if its made by Patek.

I wouldn't do it because I like having more options. I also prefer the way these 2 Rolex models look more than the Patek in this case. Rolex watches also are known for their durability, I'm not to sure how tough the Patek Nautilus is. I would also have to consider the service costs for a Patek and the turn around time when it is being serviced if I where to only have 1 vs 2 watches.

I personally wouldn't do it.

Are those the only two watches you own? If so, then no.

I would go for it in a heartbeat. The PP Nautilus is a hand-finished high-end watch in short supply, whilst the Rolexes are mid-market, mass-produced and easy enough to replace if you really wanted to. I'd go for the 5712, personally.

No. It's called "putting all your eggs in one basket" and that's not usually a good idea, especially when you lose an iconic chrono and an iconic diver to do so. You'll probably get to the Nautilus some day but I don't think this is a wise way to do it. It's a grail for me too BTW.

Got ready to put in my .02, but I see you've come to a decision. Save away! You can do it. Two years is easy. I'll be at two years of watch saving this December. Not bad at all.
I voted to trade, FYI.

no. i would not do the trade. the only watches that look nice from PP are their calatravas and their complicated dress watches. the nautilus is, imho, quite ugly.

To really appreciate the Nautilus, you have to try it on. It's absolutely stunning, IMHO.

You already have an extensive Rolex collection. A PP is the pinnacle. I'd do it without a doubt. :)

Not for me I know the SS Nautilus is a very expensive watch but I think as far a beauty goes the Sub and Daytona easily outshine it.

I say no.
