I was going to purchase one more Rolex, but nixed it after the last price increase and went after another brand. Turned out to be a good move, because enjoying another brands cured my Rolex fever.

The more you read this forum the more you itch. Last week got SubC, this week want the others.

I went through the same thing. I used to browse the sale forum quite frequently but haven't done that for a while. If I do ts just to see what the current resale price is for the ones I own.

No I don't mean looking for one that will stop the itch because that will never happen as planned. What I meant was more of a natural process in that you had the itch so you bought and you bought and out of no where in the process of getting yet another one it curbed your urge to get another one for the time being.

I think some of you go it right, its a combination of the last watch AND the price increase that sort of curbed my itch so far!
That was the one that started my itch! My very 1st one |

I think my itch will stop when I buy myself a DD.
But I don't think it will go away for good.

Nice picture, you caught the LEC, now that's scratching the itch and making it worse at the same time.

My last purchase was a Daytona SS white face. Since then, I've put the "itch monster" to rest. Lol!....but I'm sure it will raise it's ugly head in the future.

my itch did not disappear with the acquisition of my sub-c it just toned down a bit. now i know that sooner or later i'll buy the next thing. right now i find myself browsing the pams.....
not being interested in complications and dress watches also helps a lot.

I had the "itch" for a Sub for years after purchasing my first and most favorite of all Rolexes, the Pepsi GMT Master II. Then when they released the Sub-C.... it sent me over the edge. I wear it so much I actually feel guilty for not wearing some of my other watches.

No cure per se, but the rising prices are helping me to slow down my purchases for sure.
