for those who own ONLY Rolex

1 or more , I don't care

But the question is to the memebers who have only Rolex, NO OTHER BRANDS

Could you tell us which brand you would consider buying if you would add another brand ?

Panerai ? IWC ? Omega ? JLC ? ...

IWC 1st, Omega 2nd.

I have ZERO interest in Panerai or any other brand other than MAYBE IWC or Omega.

I admit for better or for worse, I am a Rolex Snob.

If I'm spending the amount of money necessary to buy a Rolex, it wouldn't be on any other watch but a Rolex. Just the way I feel. I'm sure there are other watches just as good or better than Rolex, but they're just not for me.

I started out with not wanting any Rolex, mainly IWC, JLC and Zenith - now most of these are gone and probably more will go for the next Rolex

I want a panda AP ROO so bad, but it's out of my comfort zone spending-wise for the time being. I would like to add IWC,JLC, Patek, and Lange. This could take decades, however.

i consider many other brands for other reasons. PP for a calatrava, JLC for a reverso, maybe an IWC for a big pilot.

panerai, no thanks, just a bit too much for me.

For the $$$ I think Rolex is about as good as it gets. If I had the cash to spend whatever on a watch a Roger W. Smith would be nice or a Patek. I have many other hobbies and I think about $15k is as much as I would go on a timepiece right now. I guess I shouldn't be answering since I do also own a seamaster (and a Timex, LOL) but oh well. I like the Omega but not in the same class as the Rolex. I love watches but If I only get 1 or 2 more Rolex's in my lifetime I'm sure I will be happy. I'm sure my DSSD will last me another 20-30 years wearing it daily.

Started with Rolex, then Panerai, (which I got)
Now it's JLC reverso, then AP ROO (model TBD)

I have always loved/owned Rolex. I recently bought a couple PAMs that I enjoy. Next, would be AP 15300 and then perhaps a Lange.

Iwc, i have been thinking of converting my entire collection to Iwc....nothing like the simplicity and clean lines of an Iwc, i would love to add any of these:

Why would you want to exclude people that own other brands? Their favorite may or may not be Rolex but at least they could give you pros and cons of the makes and models they own. Asking for people that only own Rolex about other brands is kind of like going to the Mercedes Benz dealer and asking him questions about Nissan cars.

I will maybe choose Grand Seiko and compare them side by side with rolex. I'm really interested in their Spring Drive although their use of integrated circuit did put me a little off.

I only have three brands so far. Rolex, Grand Seiko, and AP (just got my first).
I've tried a zillion others and so far, these three have been winners.

I considered PP... but the thread on the Non-Rolex forum here about PP service time and costs - have soured me on the brand.

I have a Seiko & a couple of rubber watches I wear in the garden - does that disqualify me from responding? (They hardly register really, do they.)
I love the clarity & simple elegance of most IWC and Vacheron Constantin.
A Patek would be only a dream unless I won the lottery.
