Tudor Sub 9411/0 value?
Hi All,
I'm sure most of you have read about my Tudor 9411/0: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ighlight=tudor Currently, this watch is at the spa having a service (oil/cleaning). When I get it back in a month or so, I'm looking at possibly selling it to fund another purchase, but, I'm not quite sure what it's worth.. What do you guys think is a reasonable price to sell this watch for? I'm not sure if this sort of question is allowed, but, figured I would ask! What I do know is the watch is from the mid 70's. Has to original Rolex bracelet (a little rough condition, but, it's there ). Movement is in excellent condition according to my watchmaker and will have a fresh service to go with it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I'm not super up to speed on the Rolex/Tudor market! Thanks everyone! |

Not a real expert on Tudors, but maybe $2800 to $3200 after it's been serviced!

If your serious about selling it I would not have put it in for service. If you sent to RSC they may do more to reduce the value by relpacing the bezel which has a nice patina. If you gave it to an independant then your not really going to increase it's resale value as most people who buy vintage like myself would prefer to have their own watchmaker do the service. Good luck either way.

Luckily I sent it to my independent watchmaker who does a lot of work on vintage pieces.. When I asked for the service he gave me the 20 minute rundown on what exactly he would and would not do. (i.e., he will only perform a clean/oil and light buff on the crystal). He is not going to polish the case at all or touch the dial/hands etc.. Rare that good watchmakers exist out there these days, but, this guy truly is top notch. |

I sold a very nice 94110 (let's say 95%+ condition), head only, for EUR 1.950 (say USD 2.800) about a year ago.
