That new Aquanaut looks pretty sharp. You have a well rounded collection as is, and as others have stated, and a PP would be a unique addition rather than a slightly different duplication. I went with the PP Aqua 5167/1a over the Naut and couldn't be happier.

Love the 372, however is too similar to the Fiddy which I own. Porsche always sound good, but she said watch not car. She doesn't want to fuel the mid-life crisis.

I prefer the original Aquanaut look. That dial is too cluttered and the case looks mis-aligned with the new buttons on the left. Nautilus!!!

How about a Breguet Marine Big ROSE GOLD! its a watch for all occasions and it would be a great watch to help diversify your collection. Looks spectacular in person.

Do you want/need a dress watch or a sports watch?

In my opinion, based on your price range. If you want a dress watch, get a PP Calatrava, without question.

If you want a sports watch, get a PP Nautilus.

If you have $20K to spend on a watch, get a Patek.

I would go for the regular Aquanaut, very understated and classy

A Patek is a beautiful option!! Start with a nice Calatrava in that price range. The complicated movements go up much higher in price though. But you only turn 40 once so make it a memorable one!!
