Rolex watches and what else?

Hi guys! I am an addict and admit it. I have 5 watches i rotate, 2 DJ's, a submariner, a Lacroix and a Tag. I am now on the hunt for my first Panerai.

In addition to my watch fetish, i also love sunglasses, mens belts and designer shoes. I would like to know what "excesses" you guys might have.

I have about 12 pairs of sunglasses, all ray bans or oakleys. I have a nice 10 belt collection of vuittons, dolces and cartier.

Anybody else want to share? I would be interested, thanks.

My biggest indulgence is my custom work duds. 10 bespoke suits & about 30 made to order shirts.

There's a lot more I could confess to, but something tells me this thread would end with some 12 step advice.

For me it's shoes, at one time I was having my house packed for a move in 2009 and the packers and I counted 58 pairs. I gave a lot of them away only to end up ordering some more. Also have a couple hundred LS and SS button down shirts. Used to be into cars, g*ns, and gold rings I've bought wherever I traveled to. Stopped buying rings, cars, and g*ns. But this watch addiction is insane, imo. Just saying....

Hoo, boy. Answering on behalf of my husband, who collects:

guitars and associated equipment
military radios
neon advertising clocks
flashlights
military binoculars
vintage fishing lures
bicycles (up to four now; does this count as a collection?)
railroad items
vintage soldering irons
US-made tools

There are probably other things... but these are the ones I know about!

Here is the kicker. This is about as bad as it gets. As for things other than Rolex I'm bad on, hmmmm, my boat and fishing stuff, I tech dive (I think I have more invested in tanks than Rolexes, I hunt every weekend during the season (at least one big trip a year) and have about 40 firearms, I have a Corvette with 660 RWHP that I like to track and I'm always breaking something, and I golf a few times a week. Yea, I'm broke.....

Books. I have thousands of books. Some very, very old. There are certain books I have 10 different translations/editions for.

My favorite in my collection are my Dickens novels, complete works, in red leather, published in 1866. Passed down to me starting with my great-great grandfather.

Speaking of which, the other prize in my collection is my great grandfathers war journal from WW1. He was apart of an elite Canadian army corps that fought at Vimy Ridge, a great source of pride for our military history. It contains astonishingly detailed depictions of daily life and battles, including losing some of his closest friends.

Yeah, I forgot to list the "Big Polo" Ralph Lauren polo shirts, the DeWalt tool fetish and my favorite of all time, LGB German made Trains. I've got my eye on starting a little pen collection but dont know where to start with that. Been thru the Glock phase, Corvette phase and BMW phase...A Carrera S convertible would be fun...
