NEW 36mm and 41mm pics on me. Help with sizing...

I think part of my prob with my DSSD is that im dieted down for competitions right now. Usually about 35lbs heavier, and im thinking the way it fits NOW as opposed to my normal size.
Below is a pic from my last comp 2 weeks ago... I have 1 more in 2 weeks then my weight will go back up and I think the 36mm will def look too small then.
Also, here is a current and before dieting DSSD wrist shot... so, as you can see, i think in a cpl months the 36mm is gonna look like a girls watch on me!

If I were you I would sale the DDSD and buy the DJII. While they both look good I just think the DDII is a better fit for you. I have a DJ 36mm and my wrist is less than 6.5 lnches and after wearing my Daytona it is even starting to look small on my wrist. Good luck.

Mike, best of luck on your bodybuilding career. I said earlier in the thread that we had similar builds but after seeing your pics I withdraw my statement. You're a monster! Whats your H/W when you're not in comp mode? I'm 6'2 255 but nowhere as cut as you are. As many have mentioned, 40+ is the way to go. I don't understand this idea of 36mm watches looking good on everyone. On guys like us it just doesn't work.

PS- I also agree w/ keeping the DSSD unless you have to flip it. Best of luck.

Mike check out Panerai PAM341 .. That will be a perfect fit for your XXL wrist while you are not on diet. It is 60mm! Arnold wears one too. I did tried to get one for my husband, his wrist is only 7.5 and it is way too big for him. He wear the dssd perfectly thou. Btw, check out the dd2.. I last month bought him a dd2 and he loves it. It wears even bigger than the dssd 'visually'. Do check out the Panerai and the DD2 before you close the deal.. Btw yummy body! .. Happy shopping.. Jennifer

Mike you look fantastic in that competition pic!

In those pics you posted in the first post DJ and DJII both looks fine but you are right when you are off season the DJ will look a little small/odd with added bulk to your size. I reckon DJ II/DD II's size will accommodate you full year round regardless of conditions.

the white DJ jub is classic. looks great. DJII seems unbalanced imo with the big bezel. If you want a D-D the kicker is the chunkier prez bracelet.

1. Awesome physique, all the very best. I could only dream of having a build like that.

2. I would avoid the 36mm DJ as if your hand swells it will look very small and feel almost like the watch is sitting on a third of your top wrist which doesnt look nice.

3. Go with DJ2 or DD2

4. I love the "mystique" of the DSSD but I think it is a true "tool" watch and meant to be worn by professionals over a dive suit. I have tried it many times but it is too thick and top heavy. No disrespect to those that own one, it is a great watch but maybe it is a watch that can be worn once in a while as part of a bigger collection as opposed to "the DSSD is my only watch".

If you have the financial means, go for the Day Date 2 or GMT 2 Yellow Gold.

Thanks for the compliment... Not into the YG, I would LOVE one, but not sure it would go with my dress style. I am seriously considering selling my DSSD and buying a WG DD2. Then in a yr or less, rebuy the DS or a Sub.

As I said in your other thread, the camera lens and the distance from which the photo was taken comes into play.

In the close ups, where only your wrist can be seen both watches appears larger than in the photos where a larger part of your arm can be seen. In the first set of photos the 36mm looks fine to me, but in the second set of photos it looks a bit small.

Like others have said: Go larger for casual wear, when dressed like in the photos. This is what I prefer.

You have an extraordinary physique, so why don't you take the opportunity to carry pieces that looks proportionally perfect on you, whilst many of us find them way too large and can only dream of them. I am one of them... the DSSD as well as the DJII is too big for me.

I suggest that you keep the DSSD, and adds a larger DJII. (And If I where you, I would skip the diamonds).

Ceramic Submariner....you still will have the micro sizing clasp but it is more balance watch than the DSSD or wait to see if you fall in love with the new Explorer at 42mm.

Actually from your first shots I thought your wrist looked like mine with a lot of veins-----but veins are the only thing I got (15 bicep).....If I rock a DSSD, and I think it looks good, then I would say you gotta go big or go home.

Actually with arms that, then honestly whatever you like. It's like a chick with really big boobs.....I just look at her chest.....no idea what color her eyes are.
