I bought a ticket to benefit the Adaptive Ski Program; Ron Beauchamp is on the board and has a good friend who was paralyzed in a skiing accident. I already own that watch, so I don't much care about buying another one. Ron sold me mine at MSRP; he's a good guy and my wife and I have bought 5 watches from him over the years.

I didn't mean my post to be negative in anyway...I bought my Daytona from TRF a V serial for under 10k...I'm sure Mr. Beauchamp is a wonderful guy.

Just offering my observations, charity or donations are one thing but "the chance" to pay full retail for a watch that is easily had anywhere else is another....

Either way enjoyed the event...gave me an excuse to pull out the Harley and go for a putt....
