Rolex weight
So I have been wondering here. I have the Rolex GMT-Master II C 11670LN Z serial number, and it is the heaviest watch I have. But I don't know if I would call it heavy. A lot of people say Rolexes are heavy. When I pick it up I don't know if heavy comes to mind. I have worn watches that come up almost to the wight of this before, so maybe I am just used to it. Does any one else have this problem? I know heavy is a relative term. One of my friends says my watch isn't heavy, but they don't own a Rolex either. that person thinks they know all about Rolexes. Is it just that Non-Rolex owners think that Rolexes should be heavier than we all no them not to be? I would like to here your feedback!
They say that the GMT II C is about 146G, which feels about right to me. (Stainless) |

Woah, Heavy!!
It's all relative. I tried to weigh the clock in my car and it was over 2 tons!! Nah, around 5 ounces isn't heavy when there are watches that weight twice as much, again relative. |

DSSD is the only rolex watch that is heavy for a ss watch.. It weight in at around 215g which is almost the same weight as a 18k sub c 116618. Anything heavier than 230g, it will have to be made in 950pt. DD2 in 950pt 218206 weight around 270g. Cheers! .. James

I don't think GMT II is heavy at all, there are several other brand like Tag Heuer Link Chrono which is a lot heavier than Rolex

My GMTIIC is heavier than my GMTII or my 16610LV. So yes it all depends what you are comparing something to.

Rolex do not make particularly heavy watches.
