I agree with your mum.

The current TT is a late 2001 model..My original TT was a 1988 ref 16803 that was stolen in ~1999. I never got comfortable with anything else so replaced it a couple of years later....

Once you find a place for a particular model within yourself...absolutely nothing else will fill it..

Oddly, my other love has been the GMT on a Jubilee, which I fulfilled this past year - but the unknown was the black faced EXP II; it has become my daily wearer lately....

I love the jubilee on the GMT, was that availible officially, like they still do with the DJ?

I know what you mean about the right model. I have tried most on now and the one that keeps singing to me is the SD so that is going to be my very first Rolex. It should not be long now!

I would love to visit Vegas one day, I know it is very popular with my Canadian Buddies!

Humbert Ramuz with a Lecoultre movement, around 1890 - 1900. Too bad it isn't one with their patented 'winding by opening the case' though.

Absolutely marvelous. I have seen some outtakes from the original shows where the cast DOES indeed crack up. And THAT'S hilarious as well.

My favorite shtick was when Ed would get ready to write something, and wave his arms, and spend WAAAAY too much time getting ready, sending Ralph off the deep end!

Alas, they just don't make them like that any more...
