What's next for apple stock?

I know steve Jobs had stepped down as the head of apple, But I can't help to wonder were is apple stock heading after the dismal iphone release and now the sad news of the loss of Jobs

I talked to a lot of people who stll believed that jobs was still making decisions and mentoring his predecessor

Jobs passing has been previously baked into the current price.

The "dismal" release should lead to an increase in the pace of growth of profits and market share. Likely the 4GS will knock out the all-time smartphone champ (iPhone 4) within six months. I think the stock could handle something that dismal every now and then!

Watch not tomorrow, but rather the week leading up to the quarterly earnings announcement.

My only reservation is, I heard that all the ATT sales heads had training and play time with the new iphone today, and many were having issues with the seri voice app, some of the forums are reporting that it has a 80-85% voice accuracy,I would expect the consumers to have much of the same results, also the fact that there is no feature support in Spanish, all of which can further drive the stock down.

I don't think his death will affect the price too much. I think the possibility of less than stellar sales of the 4s would be more if an issue.

the market has factored his death for some months now.... it's the 4S and the euro zone that bash stocks around

Agreed, my $.02 is that the next three years of Apple products is already planned, it's after these three years that will be the test for Tim Cook and the team. But I have HUGE faith in Jonathan Ives talent, and he is the one that actually designs the Apple products, the look and feel, the little touches that make every one of their products so special. After the three years is up, it's anyone's guess. Steve Jobs had such a great mind to come up with products you never knew you needed, but now can't live without. The "after three years" is the period I worry about.
