Question
I know it's been discussed, but I don't remember the consensus....
Is it harmful to wind a watch BACKWARDS in order to change the date??? |

If your movement changes the date when winding backwards then you won't damage the movement by doing this.

Which movements will allow that other than the one on the GMTII or Explorer II? Thanks.

So that means I can go back on the date on my non-quickset 1675?

That's excellent news. I was thinking on taking my 1675 on my next trip to Beijing but I was worried about not being able to reset the calendar when I get back as you gain a day.
