1986 Tridor w/WG Bezel (authorized by RUSA)

My DD w/WG bezel and Rhodium Roman Dial! A rarity, IMHO.

I thought DD's presidents were only made in one type of presious metal, not TT?

When I say TT, I'm just refering to a mixture of metals, I'm aware its not SS/18K..

However I didn't know presedents came in "TT"

Yea Dino, I'm not sure when Rolex stopped production of their Tridor lines, I assume they fell out of favor in comparison to the Day-Date range in WG, RG, YG, and Platinum. I guess I will Google Rolex Tridor when I get home from the barbershop to further research.

Dingoo - the Tridor wasn't very popular, probably because it resembled too closely a TT DJ and was the most expensive DD at the time. Ultimately, it was discontinued. IMHO, those of us who have them are fortunate, indeed. That's not to say I wouldn't part with her in a split second if a reasonably priced, BNIB DD Plat. w/arctic blue dial came my way. Other than that highly unlikely eventuality, she's a keeper.

My 1995/96 catalog still shows this model 18239/8285/9 Bracelet.

The 2000/01 catalog shows a different Tridor 18949/72748 Bracelet.

Few years later it was upgraded to Tridor 18958/72748 to present.

So it must be somewhere in between 96 - 99 where it was discontinued.
