Thanks!
georgew the NATO band is great. Since I have a 6 inch wrist it is a better fit than the steel. It is so comfortable!!! Before I got it I planned I was going to get a NATO band and was lucky to find one right away. I found jewelry stores don't carry much in the way of watch bands anymore. I looked everywhere and found a watch repair that had two styles to choose from and was lucky they had the one I wanted. Regular jewelers only sell spiedel, timex and leather bands. I have to find an online website to buy from. This one is a deBeer watch band.
Any recommendations on where to buy good quality NATO bands online?

That's the gospel truth.

It seems to me that good ones are especially hard to come by, plus I've had retailers tell me flat out to go online.

Congrats, a fine choice of model.
All the good DNA and tradition without unnecessary fanfare.
