I remember seeing Jordan play his last time in Orlando when he was with the Wizard's. It was interesting to watch him. I watched his every move, even when he was on the bench. I knew it would be the last time. He sat on the very end of the bench, I never saw him talk to any of his team mates or coaches. He didn't even go into all of the timeout huddles. He actually checked in and out as he pleased. Just did what he wanted and stayed to himself. He was just so dominated during his career. I actually remember him coming to Orlando to play the Orlando Twins when he played minor league baseball.

Oh man, don't get me started on Jordans and Nikes. Got close to 200 pairs in my closets and storage room. I keep telling myself (and my wife) that I'm going to sell them. But I'm too lazy.......

Osneaker.com and marquee sole Typically have them for less than $100 over retail for months in advance. I'm too old to camp out for shoes. Wore some mint cardinal 6's today shopping for presents. Brendan Hayward was in Chanel at the same time and he said nice kicks to me. He had a Jordan sweat suit and some white 3's. I like J's but I'm kinda over it.

Let's talk! Not only do you probably have the 1655 I am looking for you may have some gems I missed out on like the Air Yeezy's. To my wife's happiness I sold a bunch of my non-related Jordans in 2011. Here is a picture of the 11's fresh off the plane and delivered to me in Italy today. Sometimes it pays to have friends in the right places

We wear the same size but I will hold on to mine and let you know if my contacts can track down a retro pair at retail price... As far as my originals no way!

WalMart is just happy another retailer is getting bad press for a change. Classic, the downfall of society is now complete.

Do you wear them, Sam. It never dawned on me to save mine. I'm easy on shoes and get 2 or 3 years out of them but eventually I wear them out.

Art, I wear my Jordan's when possible. Thing is I normally purchase two pairs. In the sneaker world it's called "one to rock and one to stock"

I need to get with it I guess. Jordan's have been my only shoe since they came out. Before that I still wore Nike. If I told my wife about this release she would have found me some, she has her ways. At times I feel bad buying a pair when there are teenagers hanging out in the store just looking. I know they want a pair and they see this old guy buying them. Maybe sometime I'm feeling good about myself I'll buy a deserving looking young fella a pair. Now that I think of it I have purchased two pairs at once, it was at the urging of my wife.

Very cool Sam. Mine have shipped, but since I am leaving town Monday morning...I won't get them for a little over a week. I was able to get another pair for my son who will be extremely happy tomorrow morning when he opens them.

I typically don't buy 2 pair of each release because half of the time I am buying a pair for my son as well.

Slightly off topic...NBA finally starts tomorrow!!!!

That's cool! At least you were able to still bag a pair and I am certain your son will be excited! I'm kind of upset I won't be at the Garden tomorrow since I'm out of the country but yes I am happy the NBA is back! Happy holidays to you and yours!

I have 2 pairs of Jordans....since I am a woman with small feet (I can wear the kids sizes), 3 or 4 years ago I bought a pair for now and one for later. The new pair in the box are collectible because the shoes are quite a few years old.

So I HAVE a brand new pair and didn't need to otherwise riot for shoes. Hehehe, mine are very similar to the riot shoes except they have blue on them.

My neighbor kid asked me the other day if I used to play basketball (I am 41 an 5 foot 4) because of my "Jordans"

I just liked how the shoes fit when I bought them.....now maybe I should see what I can get on ebay for them??????

tell me about it Sam! You still play bro? I played in these shoes back in '95 and someone stole my concords from my locker. I was so pissed..I still play ball here in Vegas..my friends put up a league for Asian-Americans and we play at the Tarkanian gym. Sadly, I now play in kobe's..they're lighter and give me quick movements..
