which model current or dicontinued represents the best value to you?
although the prices have soared a bit in the past year or so i would go with the 16600 a real classic. what model would it be for you?

It's all personal opinion.
I would buy a 14060m 4 line if I were adding a new watch. It's a classic and won't break the bank. |

Regardless of the value and the msrp, I think the most valueable rolex I got is the one that I wear the most.. Currently, it is the DD2.. Ask JustABreathAway, I think he will agree with me.. DD2 to me is the best rolex have to offer for everyday everywhere use.. .. James.

16570 if you travel and plan to keep it. Dual time zones, date, ok water resistant, and with the proper tool you can dress it down with a NATO strap.

Outside of the Rolex sports line I would have to say the 116264. One can have both a dressy and sporty timepiece without spending too much. To me it's an overall good and reliable timepiece!

16600 / 168000 (the very limited run 1987 sub)
116400 white is also way undervalued imo.

Considering you have the so many different options with regards to inserts and bracelets I would agree. 6 different watches for the price of one.

These 2 watches:
Used Plat YachtMaster - the fact that you can buy this beauty used but mint for a little over 5k is incredible. MSRP is nearly 12k and it's such a gorgeous, versatile and refined piece. GMT Master II - the fact that you can take a classic like this and swap the bezel out to Pepsi, Coke, or black to give it 3 different looks. Not to mention it looks great on a NATO and Jubilee bracelet. Id say this is probably the best bang for your buck in the Rolex lineup. Best value, hands down. |
