The magnification on that cyclops doesn't look quite right...

Definately looks dodgy, but could it be camera angle?

I like the "Near mint" description, its been hammered on a polisher multiple times then worn and scratched and dinged up then had the PVD coating done over the scratches lol

I don't believe it's the angle. The date window doesn't come close to filling the cyclops.

Look at the right side lugs - the spring bars protrude.

I agree. Also, that cyclops looks totally wrong to me. That watch is an abomination, IMHO. As a truly wonderful community, I think we all need to "watch out" for each other (all puns intended). Since the piece looks suspicious, perhaps the Mods may want to make further inquiry to ensure safety and authenticity for everyone.

There are several little things wrong.
The date magnification is just wrong and no angle would improve it. I'm not as down on PVD as some people, but this watch looks worthless to me.

Waaaayyy too high of price. You could get a like new one for that price and PVD it yourself if you wanted.

Saw this type of poor cyclops on another watch in a different post in "Watch Out". Could it be a poor aftermarket replacement crystal on a true Expl.II?

Agree with all the posts concerning this watch. There are to many gray areas and without proper disclosure by the seller in his ad concerning the questions raised, the Mods should PM him and ask him to voluntarily remove it.

Have you seen that huge bracelet link , the last one from 12'' before the bracelet enters the clasp?

All watches on the Forum are scrutinised by our members. Why would we question genuine watches? Have you seen some for sale on the Forum that you thought were fake and did you question them?

I reported this thread earlier as I didn't know if earlier posters had done so.
Things seemed to move very quickly - thanks to the mods.
