Stumbled on these via search. We've seen a lot of photos but these show the watches at different angles. The tone of the Titanium and the overall matte/tool appearance of the Pelagos is captured really well.

Be sure to check out the 2nd page of the gallery (by clicking the small arrow icon in the bottom corner) which shows the thickness of the Pelagos on the wrist.

Some heft to the Pelagos for sure but still looks nicely proportional on the straight-on wrist shot. My guess is this guy has 6.75" wrists.

I can't wait to get these but I wonder how sturdy the clasp springs on the Pelagos are? It looks like it's visible in that last photo.

I just have three spring concerns that will hopefully be answered by those that will undoubtedly get the watch before I do:

1) Is the bracelet rendered completely useless if the springs fail or is it just the expansion feature?

2) How common are these springs if they do fail? Can I pick-up a set at my local hobby shop and install myself or do I need to send it in for servicing? Maybe there's a suitable replacement to act as a bandaid before sending it back to RSC?

3) Will USA RSCs service this watch or do I need to send it across a boarder or overseas?

I'm sure the springs are robust enough for years of service and are just like any other part of a watch that's likely to break if abused. I would hope any person with a Rolex parts account could source the springs and install.

I can not wait for the release and I'm a bit nervous, since I placed a deposit with an AD in Canada for a Pelagos without actually ever seeing the piece... fingers are crossed!

Prefer the pelagos as I'm not keen on the flashy red bezel.
The titanium looks incredible though.
A little disappointed its a honkin' 42mm... might be a deal killer for me.
