16800 Dial Question

I can see the corrosion on the hands clearly. What causes the bubbles in the dial face ??. looks like tiny moisture drops but its actually tiny spherical shiny appearence blisters. There are a couple in the 'white' but they are harder to see. They go down into the date window shaft. Are they related to the Corrosion on the hands??. Its going in for Service this week. Dial color is a nice matt black when not photgraphed its impossible to see the spheres with the naked eye. Same watch in second picture as it appears to the naked eye.

Where is it serviced? Make sure to tell them to keep the dial!

Moist/water causes corrosion - so pretty reasonable to think the dial is affected by that too...

A lot of the value in that watch is on that dial and hands, they should be kept at all costs....

It appears either some humidity got in that watch over the years and/or it natural fading and deterioration of the dial.....

The patina is beautiful with the naked eye
