Maintenance on a 14060m??
Any advice on maintenance on a 14060m? I'm not talking about cleaning etc but more along the lines of having to send it into Rolex somewhere along the line.
How much would a trip to Geneva cost and what is usually done? And how long does it take? Thanks! |

You don't have to send it to Geneva. Send it to RSC-Dallas when it starts showing signs of needing service. Runs about $600 if just a normal service.

Just send it to RSC for routine service if it is due of course or gives you a reason to.

any good watch guy
IMO, Rolex are gnerally simple, well designed movements that are not difficult to service properly. Any well trained watch guy who has access to Rolex parts can do a fine job. I live in Dallas and work about 3 miles from RSC but use two local shops for routine service.

X2. To answer two of the OPs question. Service is usually $600ish+parts. Takes 6-9 weeks usually on the shorter side. I don't have a problem with independent watchmakers but send it to RSC you get a little bit of a warranty and it comes back looking almost brand new.
