Thoughts on TT Blue YM "D" series

Thoughts on TT Blue YM vs TT Blue Sub. I am leaning toward buying the YM due to (1) I like the look, (2) I have a "D" series SS SUB, (3) I had a TT blue Sub and the YM would be a model that I have never owned, (4) would be a good addition to go along with my GMT Master and above mentioned Sub and lastly, (5) I would be buying from a respected member of TRF---KansaiVet.

Just would like your personal viewpoint.

They both look great and you would be buying from a trusted member and one hell of a guy!!!!! I love the TT Sub but the YM is stunning too. Very hard decision!

One thing I did not mention is that Tom is selling at a very fair price. Wish I could remember who told me to buy the seller, but that member was 100% correct. In this case, with both watches being tied in this race, common sense says...go with the seller you trust.

You would have heard this piece of "buy the seller" advice from numerous members here, including me, but as said you don't need to "buy" Tom. This seller is better than ANY AD

The Blue TT YM is scarcer and its very nice, but when it comes to blue ,there is only one King and thats the Blue TT Sub.

My choice on YM would be ....

SS/plat YM
TT,champagne dial YM
YG,champagne dial YM

In all of the above the dial blends with the bezel, giving it a uniform appearance.

That YM looks fantastic, but isn't it a little smaller than the sub?

The YM I am looking at buying is 40mm. Go to the watch gallery and look at KansaiVet's collection. He has a sub and YM side by side. Pure BLUE heaven.

I don't think so. When this is on the wrist, its a hunk of Gold and Steel! Here it is. Comparison pic with the Sub.

I love my blue sub, but after seeing those side by side pics,
it would definitely be the YM for me. Gotta love that bezel!

If you guys show any more love for the TT Blue YM.....you just might talk Tom out of selling it to ME. If this is not a cure for the Rolex flu, then there is not one.

That is what I thought until I bought it. Only the end links is solid. Only the new TT GMT has solid center links in sports models line, I think.
