Laser work on GMT II C chapter ring
I am sure someone can post a better pic. But these details may be worth remembering when the re-pops start showing up. I know it is not actually the chapter ring--but you get the idea. The letter edges are certainly not smooth.

I think in a few years all Rolex will have this.. I believe it's part of their anti-counterfieting efforts.. Replicas tend to use the same number on all their run, or won't take the time to do a precise job on this intricate piece; so knowing the short list of fake numbers, and what to expect on the real thing, it might make things easier.. |
