Rose Gold Daytona w/ Ceramic Bezel

I saw one of these for the first time at the Mayors down the street. It’s even more beautiful in person than the pictures I had seen. This one doesn’t do it justice though.

I can’t wait till I’m "old" enough to pull off wearing gold. I would love to have this watch some day....

well I know plenty of guys 20's 30's rocking the all gold so what age will you be need to be to be "old" enough to wear one. do you actually have a number? just curious

my sons on top mine on bottom. he is 25 and if he had the bottom one would wear it all day!! and even now takes it out for a spin from time to time

I agree with the other posts saying age doesn't matter. If you're successful enough and can afford a solid 18k gold Rolex & that is what you want, then go for it!!!

Never too young to wear gold, especially with a marvelous specimen such as that rose gold Daytona.

I’m thinking late 30's maybe?

It all depends on the person of course.

I think silver (in color) is more popular with my generation. More people are buying white gold/platinum wedding bands over gold ones and you can tell by the cases in jeweler stores who they are catering to.

I do like the look of TT though and I could see myself buying a TT or all gold watch some day down the road.

I've been wearing gold watches since I was 19 and never felt like it wasn't made for me, if you have the money then, by all means, go for it!

Age his irrelevant and having the funds to afford one most relevant. So if you have the funds and love the watch--Go for it!

I think I know what you mean brother. I am 32 and work hard but I think I understand your feelings. I just traded my 116610 LN for the TT 116613 LB and feel like its just right currently. I def want a solid gold also but will probably wait till for a couple years. I have two young children and though I could probably afford it spending $25k on a watch right now seems like a little wreckless right now. I am into my TT for $8750 and it feels like a good amount at the current time. I am ultimately looking for a YG Daytona or Sub down the road but would never do that band, half the awesomeness is all that gold in the band:)

Some people can pull off gold, others cannot. I had a TT serti sub at 22 and it was great, but I think the yellow gold model would have been a bit much. Now Daytona gold models wear a little different, especially based on the dial choice. This model with the ceramic bezel and leather strap almost gives off an AP vibe. I'm not comparing it to AP, but I'm just saying it has a different look to it than most Rolex combinations of any metal variety. I'm 24 now, and if I could, I would jump on this in a heartbeat, it doesn't look like an "old man's" gold watch by any stretch; but in a lot of ways most Rolex models defy this stereotype based on dial choices. Ultimately, if you like it and can afford it, buy it!

don't know if it's a question of a lot of supply or not enough demand, but, i've been surprised by how many i've seen sitting in AD windows.

I don't see why age is relevant ? Especially when there isn't even that much gold. I mean the strap is leather, the bezel is ceramic and everose is more low key. Compared to a yellow gold sub this thing is quite subdued.

The younger you buy it, the longer you get to enjoy it.

That's the way I look at it.

I think the Daytona-c on strap is very sharp looking, although I prefer the ivory dial.
