Sub C Crown Problem

I've had the watch for 11 months now but lately when setting the time the crown doesn't want to pull out past the notch where you set the date. It will not move outwards so I push it back in and try again when it usually works. Is this a known thing in general?

Thanks in advance.

Sometimes you may need to turn the crown cw or ccw for it to pop out. That's normal.

It has poped out as it lets me set the date so turning it further would affect the the date I require.

I push it back to winding mode, turn ccw, then back out.

Does jiggling the crown slightly at the first stop (not enough to change the date) help?

The winding crown is a 2 part spring-loaded stem, now when you push it in from the wind position it releases it from from the movement so you can screw it down. From time to time mainly from lack of use the 2 part piece in you crown can get stuck. So it could be quite hard to pull it out to the 2nd and 3rd position. Sometimes just turning it back and throe push back in to reset the crown will make it work if this dont work then you have a problem. But by using the winding crown a few times a week, say give your watch a wind even if worn most crown problems don't occur.

In the date position, rotate the crown very slightly CCW. Then put slight CCW pressure as you pull it out to the time setting position.
