Exp II on the balcony

Price Harry was today sporting his Exp II (42 mm Polar) during the Queen's Diamond Jubilee proceedings.
Can be seen during his stint on the balcony @ Buckingham Palace.

It's always been his watch of choice.

Saying that if he was wearing it with a suit then I am unimpressed.

I missed the jubilee coverage unfortunately. We've been partying all day, which although nice for the community means I haven't actually seen the Queen all weekend.

Prince Harry wore his Rolex Exp II (polar) and Prince William wore his Omega Seamaster

My gf just showed me the pictures on the bbc website.

They are both wearing stainless steel sports watches with full on formal attire. I'm talking double breasted waist coats and long formal jackets. Maybe it's just the snobbery that comes from being the nephew of a tailor but I really do think that's bad form.

This isn't wearing a sports watch with a suit. It's wearing a sports watch with basically the most formal clothing you can have. Not impressed.

really?

while i am impressed with the observation that ss sport watch aren't to be worn with forma attire... i am not at all impressed with the amount of money a democratic nation is wasting on monarchy upkeep...

no one is gonna tell them to go away... they should just look in the mirror and realize they're useless in this new world order...

You wear a tailcoat and a double breasted waistcoat every day ? What do you do for a living ?

I think SS sports watches can pass on suits but that level of formality ? It's a big no no for me. At one of my uncle's birthdays I met a few of his tailor friends and it's a pretty big pet peeve for them. Each to one's own I guess.

Some have been known to drop dead from exhaustion.

Yes I should of read the name. I've only seen funeral directors once and they were wearing black suits with black ties.

SS sports watch with tailcoat is still a big no for me but whatever makes you happy.

Where are you from ?

Two million people came to watch them today and that's just one day.

They also bring in more money than they spend.

They unite us as a country and a community. I've never seen so much togetherness in my area as there has been this weekend.
