I'm 6' 3", 230 with 8 1/2 + wrists and I think the 36mm datejust (jubilee bracelet) my wife gave to me as a wedding gift looks just fine on me.

I also have a YG day-date which obviously looks really nice: on any wrist!

My TT Sub feels "big" when I first put it on my wrist. That watch was my first Rolex.

I haven't embraced the whole "bigger is better!" watch craze of the last 10 years.

Whilst I agree with your general philosophy regarding personal taste, I think a person should be somewhat mindful about getting caught up in what is fashionable.

The 1970's and 80's wristwatch era was defined by the thinner is better rage which in hindsight was 95% fashion and 5% technology driven.

A lot of fashionable wristwatches are getting cartoonish. Like Flava Flav style.

Like everyone else said, get what YOU want. That's the nice thing about Rolex, you can ALWAYS flip them.
Please do not post a picture. I think we all know the difference cold weather can make.

It is small, but it looks fine. It's such a classy watch. I feel that it's size contributes to that. No doubt you could wear 44 mm watches, but your DJ just "works"
