Is this normal for a new Royal Oak?

I just purchased this new Royal Oak Dual Time, I am absolutely in love with the watch. And I hope that this will be the first of many AP purchases.

One thing that is bugging me about the watch, is the the AP Logo on the clasp sticks out while it's on my wrist, doesn't matter what position my hand is in, it extends out, I want to know if this is normal, or is this a defect?

It is still under warranty, so I don't think that will be an issue, but if it's part of the design, I can get used to it, any help would be appreciated.

That is not normal. The logo should sit flat.

Update:

Just Took the watch over to the Audemars Boutique on 57th St. in NYC (Down the Block from my Office). They said they will have it repaired by tomorrow afternoon, the service technician did not have the correct piece on hand.

Thanks for all the help

Brilliant piece mate. I have exactly the same as yours, one of my all time favourite. Anyway, hope this will be a quick fix ( I am quite sure it will though).

Congrats on a great watch!

For quite some time I was eyeing the same dual time, only with a white dial. Perfect size and great looks!

But with two GMT watches already, I have turned my attention to a RO chronograph instead.

The 57th Street boutique is by far the best AD anywhere ive been. For a flagship store of the brand they really do the right thing. I have went there with my ROO to change from a strap to a rubber, didnt buy my watch there. No questions at all, took it in, gave me a nice cold bottle of water, and had my watch back to me in about 20minutes. awesome store and an awesome staff. Really represent the brand and stand behind all there products. best after purchase service around is from AP in my experiance.
