New datejust rolex
Hi guys, I just traded in my AK for a new Datejust with roman numerals, as I always liked the rolex watch face with Rolex Rolex Rolex all over the face. I was so excited to see this as I dont see this style face that often. I traded in my airking, got $2000 and the datejust was 4950, so I payed the difference. Got it at Tourneau at whiteplains mall NY. Can you tell me what the face is called?

It's called a Jubilee dial.
The flash makes it hard to tell, but can you see the Romans in person?

Does your model have lume on the dial or hands? I think I see a bit on the hands. Except for the Leopard Daytona; only a paper bag can make that look good, either on the watch or the viewer.

No, this watch does not glow in the dark on the hands or above the numbers

Looks lovely, congrats! With my older eyesight though I would never be able to tell the time, I have seen that dial in the flesh and love it but just cannot read the darn thing, ah the joys of growing older!

Thankyou, yeah, at some angles the roman numerals dont show until you turn the watch a different angle to tell the time. I do like the face and the new Rolex case and oyster band. It is a very heavy watch

Nice Datejust and I like the Jubilee Dial in Blue. Rolex color blue is so raidant. YOur dial combo is unique. You got a deal paying the difference on a new style but for me vintage is where my heart is.

Not my cup of tea, that dial, I am afraid, but the most important thing is that the owner likes it. Congrats!

I think that when Rolex looks at dial/numeral designs, sometimes they don't put much importance on readability. Perhaps asthetics/bling is more important with some styles. Ya'll know I'm having some angst about my new concentric dial Datejust - it is just SO hard to read. But if you don't care about actual ease in telling the time, then I guess it doesn't matter!
