Veraet Watch Spray - Long Term Road Test
I sat in a business meeting today with a woman who had a similar TT DJ with champagne dial, but hers looked downright dull and uninspired next to mine, although it looked great when not next to mine. I think no matter what you own, keeping it clean is essential, and she was not a WIS, just a classy lady.
There has been lots of praise on TRF for how well Veraet watch spray makes the watches shine. Many find the 'sparkle' incredible, myself included. I credit weekly cleaning sessions with Dawn to get the oils and dirt off, and the final 'sparkle' restored by Veraet, to keep the watch looking truly brand new. Anybody else been using Veraet for a while now and still a huge believer ? |

I've been using it for about a year. It is great. I can't say whether it is better than plain old soap, but I enjoy the ritual as well.

I have been using it for about 3 months and it works great. I had a friend that hadn't cleaned her watch in over a year. We used Veraet on it and it shines like new. She was amazed and asked if she could buy the bottle.

I'm a big believer in veraet and keeping it clean in general. Just over the weekend we had friends over and my buddies watch was pretty dirty, I cleaned it with veraet and now he's a believer. It got so much gunk off!

I like it alot. It does make a nice shine, kind of like a car that just been waxed.

I've been using Varaet for 3 or 4 months - nothing else is even close.
Get the blue microsuede clothes for cleaning and drying. The grey are for polishing of finger prints etc. And don't forget the brush - it puts any toothbrush to shame. Buy the big refill bottle with one small spray bottle to save. TheRolexForums or TheRolexForum in the discount code used to be good for 10% off - give it a try. I have no association with Varaet. I just an extremely satisfied customer.

If you have a leather band, how does one clean the watch without removing the band (considering its a lug-less as well)? Will Varaet be okay with leather?

I use it and I think it's great. I bought the small spray and the large refill with both the blue cloths and the HD clothes. I spray it on, let it sit for a minute or so then brush around the bezel, inside the clasp parts, and a quick brush around the cyclops and the ceramic bezel to clean out the numbers. Rinse it off and dry with one blue cloth and then polish it up with one of the gray HD clothes. Works great, better then dish soap in my opinion.

It's good but no better than soapy water and microfibre cloths.
I have a bottle but won't be buying anymore because, as I say, soap and water gives the same results IMO. |

Ta, I was wondering how it compared to the same treatment but with soap and water instead. Since I wear it my daily to the gym, when I have a shower it gets a daily rinse, and most time's I'd take the watch off my wrist and wash the underside of the case and bracelet too, comes up perfect everytime, I can't imagine any product could make it come up better than a daily wash in the shower ....

I've always used just soap, water and a soft brush.
Think I'll give Varaet a try. Heard nothing but good stuff about it. Placing order today. |

Soapy warm water & if needed a soft toothbrush does the job for me, any savings can go towards the next watch too

Does anyone use this on the Yacht-Master bezel? Curious to how it does in the beadblasted area between the polished numbers.

It's relatively inexpensive and makes the watch shine! In fact, I used it on my watch yesterday and my four month old was so taken by the sparkle that he kept grabbing it; needless to say, I had to wash it again after he was done inspecting it :)

My experience with it has not been great, at first the watch sparkles but then it's hazy and oily....maybe I'm not washing it enough after spraying but it definitely leaves some kind of strong finish on the watch that can smudge.

Good to know. I'd like to hear some feedback on this because I'd like to give this a whirl but this was my first concern when hearing about the product. Hopefully there is something you are doing wrong.
