And that's how it works...
Greetings TRF,
Here are two manual winding watches I didn't wear for the past few days, obviously they aren't running anymore... Since they stopped, I believe it would be nice to see how they're made inside... Let's start with the vintage no-name, shall we? Here's the empty case... 9kt gold isn't very common but I think it looks pretty nice! The dial... And when you flip it... I love hairsprings! Well, that was a lot of fun but nothing very fancy... ...Perhaps we should move on to the second one! The beauty... ...And the beast! And... ... ... ... ...Voilà! There's nothing like a good ol' Landeron 48! And again...the hairspring (running a little fast, are we?)! I hope you guys enjoyed the photoshoot, I've promised myself to take pictures of those and thought this would be the perfect occasion! Thank you for watching, feel free to comment!

Very nice Carl! It looks like they're about due for a cleaning.

Great stuff Carl.
Now make sure you put them back together the right way...Hope you're not like me, as a kid I would take things apart but could never put them back together again.

Looks like it indeed although the chronograph is running just fine! The no-name watch got overwound (I know it's not a proper term to use but you know what I mean by that) the other day, I couldn't wind it and it wasn't working anymore (believe me, a whole day without a watch is very long! ). I was looking for a watchmaker but in the process I moved it and it seems like I shook it a little bit because it started to run and it kept going until the very end. I've still decided to let it rest until I have somebody to take a look at it.

It is! I was hoping to find information about it while looking at the movement but it seems like it will be a bigger challenge!
