Is it just Me

Why is it when I wear my everyday beater a Citizen bought is USA for $200 I never seem to knock it, yet the minute I put on my Omega or Breitling I always seem to knock something with them. Anyone else find this when wearing a cheap watch then changing to their dear one, they start hitting everything that they previously missed.

Get rid of your $ 200.00 watch . . . and probably you won't hit anything anymore . . . ;-)

Good luck !

You just don't notice banging the cheap one. Trust me, you do.

No, he's right. The frequency of damaging incidents increases in direct proportion to how expensive the watch is.

What I have learned: Because we care too much. The more you 'pamper' it, the more bangs you get. Try just enjoying the watch and you will notice a BIG difference. Took me years to understand, now I am happy!

this is the same sort of karma that determines that when you wash your car, every tree in the pueblo will decide to pollinate that day. this gives the local birds indigestion...

Buy a $10 watch and you won't hit your Citizen any more!

It’s called Confirmation bias.

You knock your Citizen just as frequently but only notice when you knock an expensive watch.
