Aurora here--no Rolex yet :( I currently enjoy my Orient .469 anniversary, my Zenith 2300, a few Tissots, and some others.

New section at Yorkdale Shopping Centre is opening tomorrow. There is supposed to be a Rolex Boutique there. Will probably check it out.

My mistake. No Rolex Boutique. However, it turns out that there is a new jewellery store opening in the new section that is a Rolex AD. They also carry Hublot. Maybe they will have some other interesting offerings (AP, IWC...). Unfortunately, they were not open when I got to the mall . The cases were still empty and they were still installing some fixtures. Don't know if I will get another chance to go there before Christmas.

Incidentally, there was also a Tesla Car Dealership in the new section. I give it 6 months.

Be sure to visit the newly expanded RVD Jewellers on Bloor and Bay as well as Raffi in Yordale Mall but hopefully the Raffi staff will be better trained with the Rolex line when you visit.

I don't know where you be staying downtown but you can use google map to give an idea as to where both locations are in relations to where you are staying.

RVD is located near Bloor St and Bay St. by Bay Subway Station (public transit)

Raffi is located in Yorkdale Mall by the Yorkdale Subway Station (public transit).

Rolex will have their exact address.

Cheers

Also visit Watchfinder.ca located in Yorkville which is only a 5 min walk from RVD. Visit their website to see their goodies. Google is your friend.

Cheers and happy shopping.

Louis Black is a great shop! I'm 16 and I've been in there only once. I was treated with respect. I had numerous RM's on the table, got my camera out and snapped away.

WatchFinder & Louis Black have the greatest customer service I think in T.O!

Go to Raffi Jewelers in Yorkdale mall and speak to Vahe, the owner. You won't be sorry! :) He gave me a GREAT deal on my Sub and I sent a few friends to him already and he gave them all great deals as well.

Damiani will discount too. IME, Humbertown will match anyone else's price. Check them all and let us know how you make out.
Merry Christmas!

Okay, so, Raffi Jewellers will have a dedicated Rolex Section/boutique attached to their store. I was there last week to drop my 16610 off for servicing. Great store with a really nice and friendly staff. I was able to look around and try on a piece or two and there was no pressure. Wonderful experience.

I tried on the new Rose Gold Daytona with the ceramic bezel on the leather strap and it almost, ALMOST made me second guess my decision to pull the trigger on the 116520 but now that I am wearing the 116520, there is no doubt (of course, my wallet is happy I went with the 116520).

Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing the new Rolex Boutique when it opens.

T dot here too. Was going to get a new Tag, but then thought -- what about a Rolex?

Was at Raffi today and looked at the Sub Date and learned that the Date was $1100 more (8600 vs. 7500), then sans date. Is this really true?

Also, any pointers on the best priced shop in the GTA and beyond?

Thanks in advance.

The price difference is true.

Check out palmpalm's older post and you'll get an idea as to what he paid for his at Raffi.

Having said that... That was his discount at the time he bought his and does not guaranty you'll get the same.

So far the numbers I've read though out 2012 was any where from 10% to 27%. I got 21% off my 39mm Explorer in Mar 2012. From there your best bet is to have money ready to buy, have your price your willing to pay and just visit the AD's listed on Rolex website and negotiate the discount or as others prefer to phrase it... "price consideration".

Use the search feature here for "Discounts"

Good luck.
