114060

I got a chance to look at and try on a 114060 yesterday for the first time.

I have to say that it is a very attractive watch and for some reason far more appealing to me than the date versions, which still look quite awkward to me.

I'm not really a fan of the super case at all, but I love the maxi-dial and the 114060 in it's totality.

I'm still very happy with my 14060M with the updated movement and the "tuna can" clasp is more than adequate, even preferable, for me.

While I'm an older case style enthusiast I must admit the maxi cases and dials do have their charm and the 114060 does look very nice!

Thank you for sharing that little review Grady, perhaps owners will soon chime in with pictures of their beauties!

A fantastic piece........
The balance of maxi dial and case, coupled with symmetrical dial and solid bracelet, make this watch a dream to wear, and stare!

You know Bill, I'm a big fan of the divers line up with Rolex, and this one seems to dig deeper and deeper in my heart the more I wear it.
I loved it when it was first introduced at Basel, and knew I'd have to take one home when it was out.
The day I bought it home, I was excited, and that feeling has not changed one bit.
Something about this watch just oozes 'serenity', if that adjective could fit a watch??

I still enjoy wearing my older dateless brothers to this model, but have grown to appreciate the newer styling more whilst wearing this.

Certainly one to try on Bill!

A true beauty.

Grady, when are you getting one?

I have the same experience when I look at the new subs. I like the blue and green, but the black with date doesn't quite feel right. The new 114060 looks perfect. IMHO it may be the best SS Rolex since the gmt2c.

The Sub is nice but I still think the GMT is the one to get.

I like it but why can't I like it more than the 116610? But anyway, a great looking watch. That cerachrom bezel looks great in the wild... reflecting the natural/day light, an eye catcher.

As do I..both the 2 and 4 line variation!!
Both classics in their own right.
A caveat though....I'm a Rolex diver collecting fiend!!

Always happy to indulge others!
