Help - 233 vs 372 vs 425
Hi all
233 is a contemporary classic. Domed crystal, 10 days with GMT, great all round performer in. 50's case. Its been out for some time now but with smaller yearly production numbers 372. Amazing looking piece close to old school DNA. Plexi is a postive but also a negative as well. A favourite amongst many but high production numbers. 425. Probably less common and also a vintage looking piece. Raised sapphire glass is awesome and scratch proof but maybe not as close to DNA as the 372. Clean and simple but some dont like the pig on dial. Strange because everyone e pig on the 292 dial. Decisions decisions Anyone owned all 3 and can comment? Or even 2? Opinions very much welcome |

I own a 372, and a bunch of other pams...
IMO, for my only piece, i'd go 233... Domed sapphire, 1950 case, 8 day+ PR... Just much more versatile IMO for an only wearer... |

Agree. Alternatively, you could go with either the 372 or 425 & a used base or logo (as your daily beater) for roughly the same price range...

For a daily wearer, I'd go 233. Otherwise, I'd choose the 372, which is PAM perfection IMO.

all three are fantastic. depending on wrist, body size, style, work needs, 233 is probably the best daily wearer. just to complicate things, if you are considering those three (especially the 372), i would add the 422 to the mix....
good luck with the choice! |

For me, the 372 is a perfect EDC but you can't go wrong with the 233! I also like the 425 but Luminors are my preference..

Get both!
Or perhaps all three. Seriously, you can't go wrong with any of them, get the one that you like best. I voted 233 with my wallet, but I'd love a 372 as well.

233! it's not because i own 233. but for daily wear, movement, and the second market. 233 is the best choice.

I have all 3 (270 instead of 233 but very alike). As a daily wearer I'd go with the 233, 8 day power reserve, 44mm, GMT. This is the best all-rounder imo
Then difficult choice between 372 and 425. 425 is easier to wear because of sapphire. On the other hand, the 372 is closer to historic look. I'd go first for the 233, then 425 and then 372 (being 425 a bit more exclusive then 372) |

372, but I am biased. Everyone's PAM.

I also say add 422 to the mix (not just because I own one ). To me it is almost the perfect Panerai. 372 is a close second, but the plexi is just impractical. Plus the PR indicator on the back of the 422 is just plain cool. And this is coming from a Radiomir guy - honestly, I have had enough Luminors to last a lifetime - and none of them have stuck around longer than a year.
