Rolex Easter eggs

I was told a few years ago by an AD that the pictures of Rolex watches in the brochures are in fact very large paintings that are shrunk down to scale size and reproduced in the brochures, has anyone else heard this or even seen the large ones? Looking closely at new and old copies in my opinion it could be a possibility, however I am no expert, sorry if this has been covered before, let me be the first to wish you all happy Easter

In older catalogues maybe, but now they look like they're computer generated. They certainly are on the website - I remember a while back when there was a 14060M with what looked like solid end links, some people almost died from the hysteria that caused!

This one is perplexing...?

All current brochures are digital images, not paintings.

As for Easter in Dec, well that's news to me??

Indeed, the title should be changed to Rolex Kwanzaa eggs instead!

As for the images, if they're paintings then clearly they're the best ones I've ever seen but I would doubt it...

I thought the images of the watches in the old (60s/70s) booklets looked like illustrations rather than photos, to be fair. They were pretty small, and low-res, and nothing digital in sight.
