WATCHOUT: [email protected]

Hi everyone. I'm sending this warning to let everyone know of the scam that this guy just tried to pull on me. He emailed saying he had a watch he thought I would be interested in. I was already suspicious but played along. He sent me a description and a few pictures of a nice waffle dial constellation. The only thing wrong was that it was a description and photos from an ad that I posted over the summer! He was trying to sell me my watch! Do not respond to any emails from this guy!

Good Lord. Yea the WTB ads have a lot of scammers trolling the ads with "exactly what you are looking for."

This case is an example of why WTB'ers should not post an email addy...

PM is safest bet and then the Mods can "can" the scammers.

One million ads in TRF and he has to choose your own to send you. Tough luck.

100% and I've said it countless times......

Having said that, I've noticed you did not post an Email addy.
If this was a current member, you need to contact a mod, any mod, with the members username so it can be dealt with!

The email address is in the thread title. He was a member of the omega forums but I figured I would warn you guys too since he sent just about everyone there an email.

Amazing - trying to scam you with your own watch.
