You can always flip the JJ-Mobile
I like the license plate! In the vein of the other thread, 2006 was a rough year for me, and I was very glad to see 2007 come in. Much beter, even got my first Rollie in July. Therefore, my sincerest wishes for an excellent 2008, and congrats on the newly rennovated, leak free home for all your family and Rolexes!

That JJ mobile has been the family for almost 10 years now coming up to March 08. I'll get bugger all for it; so I'm just hanging on to it. It runs beautifully and in 10 years all I've changed is 3 sets of tyres, 3 batteries and a complete clutch overhaul. House is the top priority right now. Hopefully, I can still hang on to both my Rollies after we get the final bill!!

How much would a plane ticket be? Make sure you take off those beauties as I'd hate to see Bluesy or Platty get damaged by a box! I really hope you can keep both of your grail watches as well my friend...

JJ, all the best and I hope it is done quicker than you plan. Are the original builders paying the bulk of the repairs? That sucks if you have to cover the shoddy builders mistakes. Best of luck. Tim in Hawaii

The original builders went into liquidation!! The bastids!!! We were able to recover a considerable sum of money from the Auckland City Council as well as some of the Insurance Companies involved by way of MEDIATION last Dec. 06. This was a settlement out-of-court which saved us considerable money by way of court fees, etc. The amount recovered will still NOT cover the overall cost of this huge 62 unit complex. We will still have to pay out from our pockets - at least $10K each unit (or so I'm surmising - final figures will be known by March!!) The good news is that construction is now on in full swing since May 07. More than 60% of the complex has been completed and the remainder should be all done by June this year. I can hopefully move back into my complex by end of Feb. Wish me luck, pal.....boy, do I need it!!

JJ, in my book, this is the remodeling project you'd have been doing in 10 years anyway!! The headache is being displaced during the job. Its spring time for you now, right, so hopefully the weather will cooperate to allow the workers to get their work done quickly. Hang in there and hang on to your blue sub!!!! :) Regards, Tim

=)) good for you to have new home with A grade materials inside. It s interesting you buy a home with working, but we buy a house with earning money from buying 3 houses and selling them. Here if you keep good time to buy a house or land as my dad does when it comes crowded you will get automatically 3 times you pay in your pocket or you may loose too depending on supply and demand and changes at strenght of peoples' buying. You live in a country to work for live life I live in a country that investment and business is necessary to live life.

Hey buddy, sorry about the delayed response - I wasn't getting the pics at first. Sorry to hear about your tales, but it looks like the light is at the end of the tunnel!
