Incoming from Switzerland...?

A friend of mine is considering buying a watch from Switzerland and having it shipped. He was asking me about customs charges, insurance, etc. I've never had a watch shipped from Switzerland so I thought I'd ask on here. Any advice, suggestions, or past experiences?

Thanks

Not allowed and customs will confiscate it.

And since you post in Rolex section we can only assume it is a Rolex which can't be shipped into US as Mon said above.

It's actually not a Rolex. I think he's wanting to bring a Vacheron in.

Will customs take other watches other than Rolex as well?
