looking to get some overpolished lugs rebuilt. anyone know of who in the US is good (Chicago ideally)? rough cost?

Rik Dietel can also take care of your laser welding needs. I hate to post a price since it was last quoted to me, but it was VERY reasonable.

thanks guys, ill look into them. when you say reasonable, are we talking <$500? <$1000? the lugs are the only areas of the watch that need attention...

A complete case will cost ca. 900EUR... Thats a price that a friend of me gets from a watchmaker in Italy.
