Just got an email from AP saying that they already started production of the updated RGRC with the 3126/3840 caliber. Would you rather wait for the new movement or get the good old 2226/2840?

I really like the new 3126/3840 caliber, however, I really hope that they won't increase the retail price. Since the recent price drop, the RGRC is a steal!

I wouldn't think they would increase the price if the design is still the same and the complication is still the same.

This is what François-Henry Bennahmias, CEO of AP said:

" The Rubber Clad will continue for a little while, and then we’ll see it re-imagined. It has been very successful for us, but it’s been the same watch for a long time. It’s going to be time to do something a bit different, and so in time we’ll see this."

I would say another 3 years, especially since the updated version is coming out in summer...
