I am glad there are g shock lovers and all but cannont fathom the attraction at all. You can have all kinds of vintage or new Seikos for that price.

I had a 10 year old G Shock and the plastic disintegrated after a few months of not wearing it. With that experience in mind, I will not buy a $3000 G Shock. Since this is an anniversary edition, I may buy it if it is $150.

I personally wouldn't fork out $3000 for that particular watch.

Like all things, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. If it is limited edition and collectable, I'm sure there will be a buyer somewhere.

To me, it wouldn't be all that different to say paying 10x retail for a limited edition, collectable submariner 116610LN. I wouldn't buy it, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone did.

I dont have a large collection Paul, but like to have different types. For general everyday use, a Mudman would be hard to beat.

A Giez is a bit more understated, but wouldn't look out of place with a shirt and tie.

I still love automatics though.

yeesh. i'd buy a head-only 14060 or a beat-up 5513 for that price.

It looks like the MSRP was $1700 and it was a Japan only limited edition. A real limited edition. Not like some of the other brand's limited editions that are really only limited to the number of people that would buy one anyway.
The 3k is some ambitious mark up.

Funny frogman description

■ It only has to understand only the understanding one.

I own Daytona of Rolex.
However, Now when saying, it is this watch that it is useful.
The price is also a little high.
However, this weight satisfies the possessive instinct.
As for the buckle of SS, the screw backing etc,
the blackout to think of the plasma coating of the professional hunter model of Daytona is processed. It is different from a normal version.
It is easy to be the largest in the current and to see the face.
I think that EL of the backlight is also the brightest.
It looks like the entry-level model of this version and founder's Gunmetalic.
It is a monotone color settled because of the overall bitter arrangement of color.
I think that there is something for which it appeals to an adult sensibility.
This model is already an end of production.
It might be not so long that you can obtain this.

According to this, that is a limited edition run of 300 worldwide and was originally sold by Casio for $1700US.

I have no interest in such things, but there are collectors of just about everything imaginable out there and, who knows?

Some Casio collector just might be out there ready to pounce.

I personally like the Casio G-Shock that I own and it was considerably cheaper than $3000US and I don't give a hoot how many there are in the world.
