I agree. IMO Rolex take advantage to make the price higher.
I believe the COGS (cost of good production), is not far to ss GMT. but the price tags almost twice as ss gmt. |

For SS?! YMIIs must be flying off the shelf somewhere because that's expensive for SS and I was under the expression that the YM was one of the under appreciated models. Thats more than the best selling SS Submariner Date. Rolex being one of the more successful watch companies there must be a genius strategy behind this.

The high price will make the jump to TT and solid gold easier, I'd expect, and keep the aura of expense throughout the whole model line.

AD on old bridge in florence had four new ss YM2s and 3 black and blue GMTs in their display window!! Seeing both in person they are both stunning additions to their lineups.
