Diver Inner Bezel Issue

Was demonstrating the inner bezel to a pal the other day when it stopped rotating. Had an inspection today and now the crown pulls easily out of the case

Anyone had this happen.

Also the normal crown binds (clicks) when setting the date....anyone noticed this before??

In Sydney Australia, they have an authorised repair centre but I don't know if they will tackle this or send elsewhere, perhaps Singapore??

I am really surprised. That looks like something that needs internal attention. I would not try to wind or do anything else to it. Can you get to repair center next week? They might send to SIN. Keep us updated and again I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. Not fun.

That's not the kind of thing you want to see in a luxury watch.

Here's hoping that the fix is relatively simple and not terribly expensive, at least not much more than a standard service.

Still under warranty so will be taking it to the service centre Monday to see what they say.....yeah not the best thing to happen to one of my babies......and probably my favourite AP. This is actually the first time in 15 years of collecting I have ever had to take a watch for "repair" services yes but not an actual failure....

Good thing it's under warranty.

It should be a fairly painless process.

wow that looks bad. not to mention pretty embarrassing when you are tying to explain how great an AP is.........and the crown drops out...

take care! AP takes turn around is pretty long. but they will get you fixed up eventually

by the way, any chance u can take a pic without the crown at 10? Always wanted to see how the diver would have looked without that crown :D

Very frustrating...but at least it has happened under warranty and will be sorted.

This is the first time I have seen the internal bezel crown come out - so hopefully it is an isolated incident.

did your friend asked if the watch was from an undisclosed source. just kidding.

bummer. from recent posts, gives me the impression that there may be quality issues with the brand.
