Hey Doctor, I just picked my new Deep Sea after owning a number of 44mm time pieces or some which are bigger....I love the DSSD, I can't stop looking at it. It is my first Rolex and very proud of the acquisition

Get a PAM or IWC instead. They make big watches.

I have 7.5 inch wrists and the ExpII fits nicely. The lugs arn't even close to hanging over my wrist.

I have the same wrist and 40mm feels fine. I wear up to 44mm but 40mm also feels fine.

SubC and GMTIIc feel plenty big on my 6.5" wrist and I regularly wear 44-47mm watches.
