Diver on bracelet is good looking but quite expensive to get one as alternative to rubber

That looks stunning !!

Congratulations !! :-)

I have the same watch, only the bracelet on mine is with the old clasp. How do you find the comfort of the new clasp with the "wings" on the side for opening ?

That's my only complaint is that the wings have sharp edges and will dig into my wrist when it swells. Not sure of they dull out over time. I heard the older clasp is pretty comfortable!

Yes I agree. I was put on an 8 month waiting list for the bracelet at Clearwater back in May but it arrived last week. I wasn't ready to pay for it yet, but that's what my savings is for!

I find the old clasp very comfortable - there is nothing protruding to the sides except for the small "balls" on each side for grip when opening.

Not so easy to open as the new one though, I imagine - but then again ........ who wants to take this watch off anyway !!

Looks great Peter!

I'm thinking of asking AP on what they would recommend to smooth out the edges if it becomes more bothersome. I have a feeling I'll need to send it in for them to service it. But you're right I don't want to take it off!

I am sure they could do that if the edges bite into your arm - but I must say that your clasp looks better. More in line with the clasp on the bracelet for the 15400.

Anyway nothing beats the Diver on a bracelet !!

Wear it in the best of health !!

Does anybody of you know if there has been more changes done to the bracelet than the clasp from the old to the new ?

I´m thinking of ordering a 0.5 or 1.5 sized link for mine to get the exact fit !

Sorry for hijacking the thread apr170 !!

No prob! I'll post a few more pics later of the bracelet so you can see if any differences. I did remove 3 links and it's a good fit for my 6.75/7.00 inch wrist. The same exact fit as my old 15400. I was thinking the ROO bracelet may be off a little to the RO but it was pretty exact.

Thanks for the pics - it looks as if the links are exactly the same as on my old model bracelet. So they should be interchangeable which is nice to now because it minimizes the possibility for problems as I am about to order a 0.5 or 1.5 size link to get the best possible fit :-)

The only difference seems to be the clasp - and the butterfly mechanism which on the new clasp seems to be a LOT beefier ! Looks very well made, but a a bit chunky.

I look forward to hear your experiences with the new type of clasp ! :-)
