Can someone recommend an independent watchmaker...

...with a Rolex parts account in the greater Hartford, Ct area? I think it's time for a service for my D serial Explorer 1 - no issues, but better safe than sorry. Thanks-

Rikki service is great with fast turn around time. His prices are also very fair.

IMHO Bob Ridley is the Rolex watch repair/restoration person I would recommend most. I have used:

1. Quality Tyme in Saint Petersburg, Florida
2. Rik E. Dietel in Seminole, Florida
3. Bob Ridley in Arlington Texas

I had excellent service from each of the Rolex service providers above. Bob Ridley was the most recent Rolex repair person I've used, I flew to Texas to visit him in person first to discuss a couple of watches I wanted him to work on for me and I must say I was very impressed with Mr. Ridley and will be using him for my Rolex repair/service needs in the future. That's not meant to degrade any of the others but I am most comfortable with Bob and his great attention to detail.
