Planning ahead - LVc or BLNR?

Jumping the gun a little bit considering I just got my ND Sub-C last week, but what would you pick for Rolex #2?

edit: And is it weird that it's been 6 days and I'm already planning out my next purchase?

Since you didn't have an option for both and because you just got a Sub, my vote is for the BLNR. And I don't think it's weird that you are looking at picking up another watch so soon. I bought my LVC about a week after I got my BLNR.

Awesome! Which do you prefer?

I'm so head-over-heels in love with the LVc. Hopefully when it's time to purchase, I can kill two birds with one stone and buy them at the same time but as it stands, I think I'll go LVc first, BLNR second.

It's a tough choice, but if I had to buy one now and I already have a sub, I'd go with a GMT first. It's more versatile than the green in my opinion.

One thing to consider though is that because the BLNR is so new, it'd be harder to get a great deal on one. In that case, you may want to get the LV first while waiting for the price on the BLNR to drop.

I must say though that its hard for me to choose a watch for the day when I get up. Both are beautiful!

LVC next. Followed by the BLNR.
I'm guessing this poll will end up around 50/50.

I guess I shouldn't say flip the 114060 and buy both?

Get the BLNR, please don't flip your Sub to do it though.

You already have a Sub, why get a green one?

Get a GMT, I like the BLNR myself

I had to make the same decision last month. I decided on this after seeing both in person. Yea, the BLNR is pretty cool but the LVc is more unique with the green dial.

Original GMT 2 C or GMT 2 Pepsi... Hulk would be too redundant and the GMT 2 Batman just looks wrong IMHO.

The LV is the biz. I've got one and I'm considering adding the SubC no-date or a Vintage no-date to the fold. So two subs? Absolutely. I'd go the normal all-black GMT if anything, but I already have that covered with the Explorer II.

Get the LVc and start a little Sub collection with the 114060 you already have.

The margin is getting narrower, but I'm surprised that the BLNR is leading the vote. I wonder if this is because I already own a Sub or if people genuinely prefer the BLNR to the LVc.

When I got my 114060, it was between that and the GMT2 LN. I went with the Sub because I planned on getting a BLNR down the road (as Rolex #2) and I figured that having an LN and BLNR would be very redundant. On the contrary, I don't think owning an ND Sub-c and LVc is redundant, given that the entire dial and bezel is a completely different color (whereas the difference between the BLNR and LN is maybe 1.5"x.1" of blue on the bezel). I am hoping that when it comes time to make my next purchase, that I can just buy both at the same time and spare myself the headache of having to decide between the two.

And the 114060 isn't going anywhere. I will admit that I get bored of things very quickly, but you only have one "first" Rolex in your entire life and I think it would be a shame to get rid of it. I mean, who doesn't wish they still had their first car? My Jetta was a total POS but the memories I had with that thing were priceless and I would give anything to be able to go my garage and have a chance to spend some time with her.

Cheers!
